dilemna of the day: how do you handle working on a group project where everyone in the group except you (me) doesn’t like the project manager? it makes working on the project very difficult…

my boyfriend never ceases to surprise me. i don’t give him enough credit…particularly when talking about it to my family. i bitch too much. yesterday, when i got home from work, he had vaccuumed, picked up around the house, and mowed the lawn (after fixing the flat tire). the night before that, he made a great chicken dinner.

i really dig my job right now. i really can’t wait to be done with school for a little while.

so i had a great relaxing weekend. after a really rough 5-week summer session at school, i needed the break.

last night, there was no need to leave my deck for fireworks. a bunch of people in my neighborhood put on a show that i sat and watched from my deck. there’s nothin’ like crowd-free fireworks over a golf course.

on a different note completely, i would highly recommend the new foo fighters and the new coldplay. the new foo fighters’ is just straight up rock. and it’s 2 cds, so you might actually get your money’s worth. the first cd is rock and the other cd is an acoustic, lighter rock. both are good. the coldplay cd reminds me a lot of radiohead, so if you’re into them…you will probably like the new coldplay.

and on a completely different note, the blog of the guy in idaho who kidnapped those kids and is suspected of killing the kids’ mom and some others.

it’s official. i have offiicially achieved the 3.4 gpa that i need to graduate with the distinction cum laude.

now i just need to keep that up.
