In short, an object lesson that in IT, as in biology, those that exist in diverse gene pools are at a lower risk, both individually and collectively, from those that subsist in a proprietary monoculture.

grrr @ wordpress and the changes to themes that came with the upgrade to 1.5.  suddenly, themes just got more complicated because they wanted to make it easier to switch among themes.

brought my preferred blog layout back.  feels much better.  hope you all enjoy it.
went to coyote ugly downtown the other night.  and of course, i volunteered to dance on the bar.  it was a lot of fun.  and i got free shots all night lol.  the boyfriend wasn’t there, but i told him all about it.  of course, he thought it was funny (though a bit jealous, understandably).  he knows i behaved.

going to see a led zepplin tribute band on saturday.  will try to post pics from that.  keep in mind, most pics i will be posting will be from my camera phone.  it’s just more convenient to carry that instead of that AND a camera.

1-JSView – allows you to view external javascript and css files related to a site; great for web developers wanting to see how other sites accomplish certain behaviors
2-foxyproxy – allows you to choose a particular proxy for individual URLs, or URLs based on patterns (*.yahoo.com); i *heart* this because i can more easily use firefox at work without having to turn proxy on and off
