last night, i dreamed i was staring into the sky (again).  this time, i was staring at the sun.  instead of being blinded, i saw clearly the fusing hydrogen (hydrogen shows up as red when looking at the sun in a telescope with a filter), solar flares, and raging sunspots.  as i realized what i was seeing, i began focusing more and more, and the sun seemed to grow as i increased my focus.  i was simply amazed.

once again, i was reminded of this dream when i looked at today’s apod. gorgeous!  i definitely have a certain, underlying passion for astronomy that i have yet to explore.
